Watching TEDWomen talk: Naomi Klein ‘Addicted to risk’.
She was talking about our societies which have become addicted to extreme to extreme risk in finding new energy, new financial instruments, etc.
What would you attempt to do if you knew you could NOT fail?
I am not sure whether that is the best thing to do. Sometimes it’s smart to think what will happen…and I am not saying that we shouldn’t TRY/test but sometimes is good to think about the backup plan (just in case).
At the end of her speech Naomi Klein said something very important:
the life is too precious to be risked for any profit.
