The feature I find the more useful so far is the Google+ Hangouts – it’s alternative for Skype, etc. Facebook should think about similar option as well. Here is the youtube video of Google+ Hangouts:

After testing Google+ and using Facebook I think that:
- we will have to use few/many application to be able to organize our activities in social media environment – which might be pain in the neck. But at the other hand maybe that’s good – because we have options to choose from
- I don’t like to maintain the same content (e.g. my friends’ list) on few social media platforms – it’s a big time-consuming disadvantage
….so now the question is: who Google+ will compete with Facebook? and Is there enough space for both? The ideal situation would be collaboration between Facebook and Google – but I guess it won’t happen too soon.

Google is trying to ‘show off’ and shake the internet a little – to show that Facebook is not the only one answer to our needs. I am not sure what’s next… it will be interesting 🙂
The main reason why Google leads Facebook is that Google is well established and Facebook is still a minnow. Even if Google+ fails, Google won’t incur huge losses because it will cover all its monetary issues with other services like Adwords, Adsense etc. Facebook is just a Social Networking Website and is at par with Orkut, Buzz and Google+ while on the other hand Google is ‘Giant’. It can swallow Facebook as a whole just as Facebook did to other small social networking websites i.e. Myspace and Friendster with one successful launch or either ways. So, just wait and watch. This is the war of a Crocodile and a Frog 😉

Google is testing so many products and one is Google+ I don’t know (and yes: wait and see) how long Google+ is stay and how powerful and big will be (so far there are 10 millions users).
Facebook as “just” Social Networking App – is so big, and they are trying not only swallow other social media apps (as you said, they already did it) but also adding new features (btw.: that’s good).
It’s great to look how social media environment is changing 🙂
