After many years you have already collected a rather big number of friends on Facebook. That’s great! But now you might wonder how to hide that list so nobody (except you) can see it. No worries! Here is a short step-by-step guide how to hide Facebook friends list. After hiding your list of friends on Facebook, the only thing your friends are going to see are mutual friends.
1. Open your Facebook profile (Timeline)
Go to your Facebook profile (timeline) and select “Friends” tab
After you selected your “Timeline” you can find “friends” tab located directly under the cover photo. Select “friends” tag.
2. Manage your Friends list
After selecting “friends” tab you will be able to see a complete list of all people that you are friends with on Facebook. Select Manage your friends list by clicking on a pencil icon so you have access to addition options.
When you click on the pencil icon you will see “Edit Privacy” option available. Select that option.
4. Manage who can see your Facebook friends list
After selecting “Edit Privacy” you have access to additional features such as: “Who can see your friends list”, “Following” and “Followers”.
Select a facing-down arrow next to “Who can see your friends list” option and you will have an access to a drop-down menu. Select “Only me” – that will hide your friends list so you will be the only one who can see it. Then click “Done”.
That’s it! It’s very simple and you can change it as often as you want. After hiding your Facebook friends list you will be the only one who can see it and the rest of your friends will be able to see only mutual friends.
